Announcement of Hathab Season 6 3rd Tour Results

The results are in for the 3rd tour of Qatar Equestrian Tour – Hathab Season 6.

Day one kicked off with the Small Tour, Table A, One round against the clock for 100\110 CM.

The Tour Saw rider Ghanim Nasser AL QADI on QUICK STEP scoring 46.39, Mohammed Rashid AL AMRI on CORNETT DES FORRETS scoring 46.52 and Haya Khalid AL HITMI on DUSTY with a record of 48.03. All riders scored with zero faults.

The competition also featured a Junior Small Tour where Haya Khalid AL HITMI won in 1st place, Abdualaziz Al Ghanim came in second and Sultan Al Naeemi finished at third.

Mr. Yousef Mohammed Al Naemi - Head of Services Administration (Daam the Social and Sport contribution fund) awarded the young riders.

The Medium Tour saw individual and team events, competing on Table A, One round against the clock.

As for the individual category of 120/130 cm, Faleh Suwead AL AJAMI had a big win at 1st place riding STEYBURN at a time of 50.70. Mohammed Saeed HAIDAN scored at 2nd with a close 51.33 seconds  On MISS CHILI, while Mubarak Yousuf AL RUMAIHI finished at 3rd with 54.73 secs on CARPORT.

The team events saw QAF taking the lead spot with Salmeen Sultan AL SUWAIDI on FIORI LS and Salman Mohammed AL EMADI on LITTLE LORD PEZI 2, who scored big with a 126.57 seconds.

ALFARDAN’s team featuring Salman Mohammed AL EMADI, rode LITTLE LORD PEZI 2, Khalid Sanad AL NUAIMI on GOLIATl, and Mohammed Khalifa ALBAKER on LISSABON 56, finished off at 2nd place with a time of 109.07 seconds.

Finishing off in 3rd place was the EXXONMOBIL team featuring riders Faleh Suwead AL AJAMI on AMBRE DE BEAUFOUR, Hussain Saeed HAIDAN on VIAHIPI D'AUZAY, and Ghanim Nasser AL QADI on S I E C LONNIE. Together the team scored a time of 110.68 seconds.

Mr. Ahmed Jaber Al Mulla member of the Board of Directors at the Qatar Equestrian Federation awarded the riders in this category.

The second day saw great competition between riders. The competition kicked off with the Open Class category, that saw Cyrine CHERIF on Brennus VILLELONGUE winning at 1st place with a score of 63.29. Followed by Mohammed Hamad ALNAIMI who came in second on DUBAII scoring 62.55, while Abdulaziz Majid AL GHANIM finished off at 3rd on GUINESS scoring 64.86. Mr Omar Al Mannai ,Vice President Longines Hathab, awarded the young riders.


As for the Future Riders Level 1 (Max. 80 cm), Abdulaziz Abdulla ALABRI rode KASHMIR who took him to victory in 1st place scoring an optimum time of 48.25. Mohammed Abdulla AL MARRI came at a second close with a 0,60 difference riding WHISTLER scoring a time of 48.60.  Hassan Ali ALMARHOON on SITA finished at 3rd with a time of 48.95. 

As for the Future Riders Level 2 (Max. 90 cm), Abdulaziz Soud AL MUTAWA scored at 1st place with an optimum time of 48.18 riding ANYWAY II, while Jassim Adel AL SAEGH on CASANOVA S.C.H. scored a second close with 48.21. Maryam Nassir AL MUTLAQ came in third riding INZAGHI VAN MOLENHEIDE.

Mr. Abdullah Al Marri, Qatar National Teams Director & Future Rider School Manager and Mr. Ghanim issa Al-Rumaihi awarded the riders.

The day closed with the Big Tour Table A, one round against the clock with jump off, where LISSABON took Mohammed Khalifa ALBAKER to victory bringing a win of 99.53 sec with zero faults.

CYRINE CHERIF, and her horse OBAMA, came in second scoring a total time of 108.39. She also won in third place in 107.62 seconds with I'AM MOERHOEVE'S PRINCESS Z being the only rider with two wins in the top three spots.

The 6th edition of Qatar Equestrian Tour - Hathab, is organized and hosted jointly by QEF and Al Shaqab and features a series of individual and team competitions that taking place between September 2022 to April 2023.

Longines is the main partner of the Tour. The main sponsors are the Salam Store, and Exxon Mobil. The tournament is supported by The Social and Sport Contribution Fund "Daam".
