DOUBLE DRESSAGE DELIGHT FOR JASSIM AL JAHAM AL KUWARI IN QATAR EQUESTRIAN TOUR LONGINES HATHAB TOUR 6 SUPPORTED BY THE SOCIAL & SPORT CONTRIBUTION FUND

The sixth Tour of Season 4 of the increasingly popular annual competition was held over three days at Qatar Equestrian Federation (QEF) Indoor Arena. Showjumping action took place on December 11 and 12, while the dressage competition was completed on December 26.   

In the showpiece dressage event of the day, the Medium (Level 1) category, Al Kuwari skillfully rode Monopoly to first place, finishing with a score of 66.719. Maryam Ahmed Al Semaitt took second spot on Rhythm, while Saoud Ahmed Al Boinin on Drum Mousse claimed the final spot on the podium.  

In the Prelim (Level 2) category, later in the day, Al Kuwari emerged victorious on Sandro Girl, with a score of 69.75. Asmaa Yasser Mohammed rode Quatro Junior to second place, while Maryam Ahmed Al Semaitt finished third on Special Edition 19.   

For the health and safety of equestrian fans, and in line with Qatar’s COVID-19 precautionary measures, spectators were not allowed into the arena to watch the dressage events.   

Qatar Equestrian Tour – Longines Hathab Supported By The Social & Sport Contribution Fund is organized and hosted jointly by Qatar Equestrian Federation and Al Shaqab, member of Qatar Foundation. It comprises individual and team competitions over 12 legs, from October 2020 to March 2021.    

Longines, ExxonMobil, and Salam International are the main partners of the Qatar Equestrian Tour, which is supported by The Social & Sport Contribution Fund (Daam).
